Wifi shutting off when game loads

Hi all,
posting on behalf of a friend again today. He's been having some issues with planetside 2. He's finding that while it will run, it shuts of his wifi and causes a server disconnect. Anyone else have this issue or know of anyone that did and fixed it?

This is a known issue with the in game VOIP system and some netgear routers.
There is an official news post from SOE about it, stating that they are working with netgear to come out with a update.

Too lazy to get you the link though.

The temp solution is to disable in-game voice via the options.
