Welcome to the 328th Maneuver Battalion! We are a military realism based outfit with its leadership steeped in the U.S. Army, our mission statement is to bring a touch of realism to the game while still keeping an enjoyable atmosphere. The 328th focuses on combined arms operations which utilize a "Shock and Awe" style of engagement, this is done by the use of close support from all branches on the field of battle. In time we are splitting our forces up into multiple companies such as Armor, Infantry (Mechanized), Airborne Infantry (Galaxy based), Air Cavalry, and depending on our skill level a projected SFOD group called the ST-R (Special Tactics-Recon).
We are looking for like minded soldiers who can take orders and carry them out to their fullest extent, a soldier who has thick skin who can take a joke and remain "cheerful in the face of adversity." Military experience is not required of any of our members as we will teach any required information necessary. We base only our order of battle and ranking on a military model but we keep ourselves in a social atmosphere, we want our players to feel welcome and not alienated because of rank.
If anyone wishes to join we will gladly take you through our recruitment process, prospective members need only fill out the recruitment form on this site (link provided for external use of this text) and make contact with either Sapperactual (myself) or Snyder (my XO) in game. If you are accepted we will place you on a probationary period as long as anywhere from a day (if you are exceptional) to a week. We understand life gets in the way so we are very flexible with our members. We hope to see you on the battlefield!
