Can't Get Zoom To Work?

So, I can't get the 1.25 zoom to work on anything. Tanks, planes, nothing. Put one cert in to the lightning and magrider. It's bound to the right mouse button, but I've changed it all around, and still nothing. Exited the game, restarted, I can't figure out what's wrong. I know the right mouse button is ok on my mouse, because it's works with other things. It works in other people's tanks also. What did I do wrong?

Did you equip it? On the vehicle screen, check the weapon, add the attachment. All weapon bonuses need to be equipped this way to utilize them before they are deployed.

Thats what it was. I never equipped it. No wonder I didnt notice any difference from the nanoweave armor. It wasnt equipped either.
