Hey sorry I'm kinda spamming but I have a different question. Have any of you purchased products (such as computer internals) from http://www.pricewatch.com? I was wondering if I could trust getting stuff from them for my tech needs.

Well, keep in mind that pricewatch.com itself is not a retailer. It's simply a "deal sniffer", as it were. It finds the best deals on parts all over the Internet, so the quality of the parts depends on what Pricewatch finds.
That said, Pricewatch usually finds good stuff. It's trustworthy, IMHO. |

You can always check to see if an online vendor is trustworthy by going to ResellerRatings. They will give you the ratings/comments of people who have bought from that company before.

I get almost all my stuff via pricewatch. And often you can get good deals by going through pricewatch.

And never buy anything labeled "Generic" or "House Brand"

I love pricewatch. I have built many client's systems using them. The key is to look for the best deal, not normally the best price. I'll give you an example:
Say you're looking for a good video card (radeon 9500pro for example) Click here for a listing that I have found on there. You'll notice that ComputerHQ.com and buyMstar.com are priced almost the same. But, take a closer look at their shipping charges. Buymstar.com is offering free shipping, where ComputerHQ will charge between $5 to $7 more for it. This is one of the types of things you need to be aware of. Another thing also is to pay attention to when the price was last updated. Sometimes you'll click to what you think is a great deal, only to get to the site and see that the price has gone up. Going back to pricewatch will reveal that the price hadn't been updated in two weeks. This is common as each reseller on pricewatch has to submit their price changes to them so they can update the website. This also happens a lot during the christmas season, as vendors are out to get your business, sometimes the updates are slow because of all the price changes the webmaster has to do for pricewatch. In the end, pricewatch.com is the best resource for current pricing trends on the Internet.
