There is an issue with the reaver gun. Since it is not inline with the target reticule there are instances where you will not hit what you are aiming at. Its a pretty well recognised issue. Hopefully soe can get some resources on it anf have it fixed eventually.

I still want to know why the Mossie has to be so much harder to hit than the other two.

Just let us turn it off so those of us who are actually aiming can compensate. The aim assist doesn't account for drop so it litterally makes you miss all the time.

This and how loud the reaver is are the legit complaints.

I thought Scythe had the smallest hit box? Mossies hit box used to be bigger than the Reavers in beta lol. They did finally make it more in line with the model.

As for Reavers gun. It has bullet drop plus a gun not quite lined up right so you have to lead upwards a lot. Mossie also has to lead upwards some but not as much. Scythes get easy mode with no drop.

The Scythe hitbox depends a lot on the angle.

I can't remember how the default main gun is, but the Hailstorm Turbo Laser has drop.

Scythes aren't "easy mode". It's a silly thing to say about anything. Scythes are awesome mode.

I'm 100% certain that the Mossie has the much smaller hit box. At least the smaller box in all the ways that matter.

I have zero issues taking out Scythes with my Vanguard, but Mossies are a completely different story, it almost seems like their hit box isn't where their model is.

The reaver is a total piece of garbage compared to the other ESF.

Given the option no one but a show off would ever choose it of the other 2.

Not sure I agree. There's more to it than that. I generally find Reavers easier to kill in my Scythe than Mossies, but on the other hand I also have some of my toughest encounters vs. skilled Reaver pilots. Those guys are beasts.

I also want to add that a stock Reaver dosesn't handle as well as a stock Scythe or Mossie, but in my opinion it's nowhere near as bad as some doomsayers make it out to be.

I've recently run a TR character to see how the weapons etc play out on the "otherside". I found the default out of the box TR esf handles better then the starter VS scythe.

From my experience, I noticed this more around facilities where it appeared to hover-handle better and was smoother/easier to line up targets.

So on average its the easiest thing to kill - but if the pilot is really good they arent the best but they are tough.

In other words its what I said. They suck.

I've found that I actually prefer the Reaver out of the other two ESF's. And yes, before you even ask, I HAVE tried out the other two. I'm not quite sure what it is about them, but I just don't like the way they handle. Plus I like my mini-AWACS-looking Reaver xD (I have scout radar). But for some reason, to me, the Reaver is much more easier to control than the Scythe and the 'Skeeter (that's Southern for "Mosquito" ). I just like the way it performs. Like a sturdy U.S. aircraft.

1. There isn't an aim assist. Are you stupid?
2. I mainly play TR, I'm in my mossie all the time. I switch to the reaver occasionally and I have a better time with the stock reaver than a overly pimped out mosquito. Stop complaining.
