What are these radar indicators?

Some beta testers feeling slightly naughty enough to fill us in?

I'm guessing they are you squad members, numbered for quick reference. Could get a little cluttered close in, unless they auto-disable.

I'm guessing you made a very good guess as to what those numbers are.

We could prove it if someone could find a pic with a squaddie in view, so you can see his number at the top of the screen and his number in the radar in front of you.

This one shows a way point (notice the direction of the arrow pointing to the triangle arrow thing)

This one is pointing to squaddie #7 and the name matches

Im 99% sure their squad members, ive seen screenshots with the squad member directly infront of the player, and at the same place on radar, and has the proper # with his name.

Yes they are your squad members, 100% sure. Each one corresponds to the order that they joined the squad.
