when you gain exp and certs and all that other junk, does your character become a better player, so when u shoot, your more accyrate and more devistating and when u get hit, it doesnt hurt as much, and your stronger/faster etc? (appart from implants/ armor etc)
i read somewhere that every player is eaqual doesnt matter how long you've been in for, i was just wondering if that was true. |

Your skill level is player based not avatar based.... This isnt EQ where you have stats like STR and DEX that effect your manuverability and your maximum damage.
All the skill elements of the game are player dependant, therefore if your a n00b but you r0x0r you can be better than a 1337 level 20 who sux. Levels give you more certs, which allow you to do more things and also give you access to more implants which can enhance your potential (such as zooming, melee booster gives you greater knife damage). But at the end of the day your only as good as your 2 hands allow you to be. And your sig has bit the dust because it was 1) Too big (in pixels) 2) Too large (in Ks) Or both. Read the FAQ for PSU it should be detailed in there about Sig requirements. Every month or so sigbot comes along and frags you with his Nazi gun.

The only thing your char gets is more cert points and more implant slots. Some cosmetic changes aswell. PS is based on player skills, not stats. |

No, the game was designed so that a new player would be able to start out without being completely slaughtered by say a player whos been playing for monts. They're avoiding turning Planetsdie into a full-on RPG. If it was configured like this, then the game would almost completley be a game of whoever has the most time on their hands, not a game of skill.
