Screenshot Analysis.

I think it would be a nice feature for the site if a more educated look at the screenshots was taken so that new players could get a better understanding of what is happening in the shot.

Example: say there is a picture of a terran MAX shooting at an infantry unit. The screenshot could be put into paint(or some other program), and any interesting things about the screenshot could be pointed out with paint. In this case, maybe they would cirlcle the anchor at the MAX's foot and write a side note saying "Terran MAX ability: Anchor. Allows MAX to fire at increased rate." Then maybe they would circle the infantry unit's gun and write something like "Suchnsuch gun. Notice Suchnsuch atribute of this gun." This could be used to point out interesting text, certain landscape types, unique happenings, etc.

It would take about 30 seconds per screenshot. Im not saying this should be done for every screenshot ever taken, just a few of the more interesting older ones, and the new ones that come in.

You can just caption that stuff. I trust people's intelligence enough to be able to figure out what is going on without glowing circles and arrows.

Why would we or Hamma do that if we all know what the weapons and MAXs and vehicles all are? I mean if you dont know what it is look it up. I mean we all have, its time for you to do too.


And 30 seconds? 2 minutes. 30 seconds if ya dont care bout blockng anythin and do a really awful job of it.

Can but don't. Screens have all kinds of stuff going on in them. The captions rarly, if ever describe everything.

I am suggesting this as a favor to new members so that they can get more easily aquainted with the game. If no one wants to do it, then so be it. Why dont I do it? Because I dont know enough about the game to do it and I dont have a well visited site to host them on.

Doing something of this nature would be highly time consuming considering our media section is chock full of screenshots. Although we could lengthen our captions
