So since a while ago I was very exited about Planetside 1 going Free To Play.
But, after my PC broke, I was stuck with the family mac for video games, so I ported it with Wine. So after waiting for a while, and a few opening dates being pushed forwards, It came to yesterday, the 29th of April. I got home from school, and to my dismay, Planetside wouldn't go online! All that comes up is "There was an error completing your request. Please try again." And a box that says "Invalid Parameter" Please help, and this is my first time posting so sorry if I got anything wrong. (I am only in 7th Grade so I am not very clever, and If this is very easy to fix sorry about that) P.S. when logging in now it doesn't come up with "Invalid Parameter" |

Kudos to you if you managed to set up wine and try and run PS off of it, you are certainly at least cunning if not full on clever.
I don't know of anyone who has gotten PS to run 100% on Wine. The way I have always played PS on a Mac is with Bootcamp, by making a windows partition and just rebooting into Windows when I want to play PS. Your parents might not be very pleased with you doing this though.. depending on how tech literate they are. |
