On the floor there looks to be a bunch of cases are they ammo or equipment dumped after a person has died and respawned ?

yes, everything goes in a coffin when you choose to respawn.

Ya, you kill someone, their body falls to the ground, then when they respawn, it becomes a coffin...right?

Remember that the coffins dissapear after about 1 minute.

Yes, that must have been one heck of a fight.

It was in a tower, and it is tough to take a tower where an enemy is actively spawning.

(btw, those giant tower battles are giant grief machines. I rarely go over 300-400 grief points, however in tower battles I find myself gaining as much as 400-600 grief per tower battle.
