Man, go check all of the pro teams and am teams - THEY HAVE SPONSERS and 50% don't even use angels. You're buying a name. There are alot better markers for your money. Shit, buy a brand new cocker and spend 500 bucks tricking it out and you'll have a better marker. I've been playing for years, and guys who buy angels - who don't play for a living (the field I play on is run by guys from the Warped sportz pro team) all suck ass. The marker doesn't make you better. I pwn those guys all day long. Do some research first.

Bob Longs are good - I'm not sure about the dragon - haven't heard anything about it. If you know paintball tho you can tweak a better one still if you have a good local airsmith. You can get it taylored just for you for most likely less money.
I've got nothing against angels - I just don't see what makes them worth so much. I've played with angels before with angelair and it's not that great. Full auto is worthless anywhere but the back ass woods. Your better off finding an electronic marker that puts out in 5-7 burst but at a higher bps than a full auto. You can't play with a marker that's capable of full auto on most regulated fields. I like autocockers myself (which is why I have one), but there are other good guns, but there is a price plateua where your return on your money isn't going to be worth it. The stock gun - with nothing done should ALWAYS be under 550. Otherwise, you're buying a gun someone else has designed for a certain type of play - which might not be yours.

I managed to down four out of a five-man team in the forests with my unaltered Spyder TL Plus. It's the person, not the gun.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
