Back from SOE

I arrived back from the PlanetSide pre-release event late last night. Had a bunch of fun out in San Diego, I don't have much to announce as it was mainly a press event for some journalists to do final pre-release reports on the game. The event was held at the ESports Arena in downtown San Diego. http://www.esportsarena.com it was a blast playing PS with it presented on a big screen. All the big dev team members were there, SmokeJumper (Dave Georgeson) Kevin McCann (Stryker) Terrence Yee (Solis) SporkFire (Victor Wachter) and Tramell "T-Ray" Isaac.

so they ar estill plannig on Releasing Plaetside on may 19 as usual? or are there gonna be some delays or anything? cause if so im gonna buy it the first day hehe

I'd say its 96% certain they are releasing May 19th if there holding a press release event ATM

thats good to hear, so i can save up my best buy gift cards and when it comes out i will use them and buy it.... cheap but hey it works i got 2 15 dollar ones already so thats $30 off the price which will help significantly sinc ei dont have much money, and are they implementing anything new to the game (besides platoons) befor ethe release date or are the platoons all and leave everything the same.... sorry but im bored at school listening to my teacher talk so i will ask questions here instead

Platoons are coming Post Release, I'd say within the first second feature patch you could expect Platoons

thats cool, they should (if they arent already) take those platoons and make them divisions, then make your way up to a Army or Core..... that would be cool cause that would mean alot of ppl in one army or core fighting for a place and that would be neat to have hehe, thx for answering the questions.... post all your info on whats going on here..... hehe tell me anythign and everything

One thing I've been meaning to double check, is May 19 shipping day, or day it will be released in stores? There's usually a day or 2 lag between the two I keep hearing May 19 referred to as the shipping day, which means it probably won't be available until 20-21 or so.
