This amused me yesterday and I thought I'd share.

I'll set the scene. Me and my bro are playing from home on a cable modem right now. This leads to an occassional lag spike, nothing major like you'd see on a modem. We're attack a neutral facility that has been hacked by the VS but still has 0 NTUs. We have a good shot at filling the base so we want it.

I kill someone and he proceeds to taunt, the conversation goes like this:



The last line I tried to send didn't make it because I was put on ignore. Basically this internet tough guy taunted me, and then put me on ignore because he couldn't take it in return.

I had one of my squad mates /tell him asking what his problem is, the guy responded to him thinking I had logged in on another account just to taunt him and immediately ignored him.

I just found it funny.

Feel free to bug him if you see him.

Talkign about geeks, I was over at my friends yesterday and he has the Galaxies thingie, ahve you seen how many people with names liek Obi Wan Kenobi 123 etc there are...what a bunch of fools, I bete there are Yoda's too....

Adding to ym rpevious psot, people like thata re what puts me off online gaming, today some mother ******* idiot (sorry for language) in BF 1942 joined my team and team killed us all....drives me up the wall when someone joins a game with the sole intent of annoying others, PS should eliminate that due to the fee, unless some dude pays just to annoy people...lol

There was one encounter I had with an NC MAX where I unloaded my entire clip of my Lancer on him and felt like I hit him every time. Being a Scattercannon and at close range, I was meat while I tried in vain to reload. I sent him a tell asking him how much life and armor he had left, nothing angry or accusing about it - just a question. I figured he wouldn't respond (like most TR ), but I ended up with a reply that said 147 armor and full life.

As it turns out I ended up striking a conversation with him. Seems he was a former VS player who had given up that the VS would ever be on par with the other empires (but was against more improvements for them now, as he was on NC. Funny how that works out... ). Anyway, after we both complained about the game about more I looked at the clock and realized that I'd really hate myself in the morning. I said goodnight, logged off, and wondered why I was still on teh Vs...

Nothing can beat 2 Vanguards spaming a tower, especially when 2 reavers with infinite rockets just kill anyone who peeks a head out of the doorway... 25 of us VS couldn't beat a single squad of 10 NC.

I want the MagRider to have super-gigantic-ultra-powerful-huge-area-affect tank rounds. If my friend starts playing, we'll be going NC. I'll be damned if I have to sit through endless months PAYING for a game where I just get to watch the respawn screen all the damnible time praying to Lybria (Goddes of Videogame Balance) that She will show them devs the light. I'd rather "settle" for teh Vanguard... and the Jackhammer... and the Phoenix... and the Gauss... if you get my drift.

But yes! The point of this post is that friendly rivalry is good and will make the much funner. I don't want /tells to be taken out as they add to the game. AND if I know an enemy personally (or well enough) we can send taunts to each other, thus increasing the fun factor (for me, as killing someone you know is much funner than killing someone you don't ). Being a dumbass and sore loser is not cool. People often mistake me for them guys.
