Stupid TR complaints

The proper pattern. Me myself being NC i am constantly sick of hearing all this complete shit about the TR. It is driving me crazy. The TR are a good force I have no problems with thier equipment or the way they play, obviously i kick there ass when i see one because i don't like there creed and if I don't kill them they'll kill me. However for all the **** out there who get a serious sexual thrill from moaning about the TR the only reason you might lose is because people realise that there are more people to play with if they go TR because on all other empires there is always some jerk moaning about the TR. NC and TR are the dominant factors in this game they are pretty much an equal side here are the his and lows of each weapon.....
Repeater>MAG scatter-A clear and obvious win for the TR here. There repeater is bithing and even with a guass or punisher i have trouble beating it...:o

Guass=Cycler-An even match for the following reasons. Nothing can really stop Guass at a range it is absolutely devastating. Even a bolt driver has difficulty with this at a range and with a guass on a range i have never lost a fight. Whereas cycler up close cannot lose. Everyone knows and realises that the Guass is a piece of shit up close due to the recoil and not fast enough fire rate.

Jackhammer>Minigun-Uber weapon jackhammer cannot lose to a simple minigun. Its clear as hell why not. And im not giving exceptions for the retards.

Phoenix=Striker-Even again. Despite the fact the striker has 3 missiles it cannot beat the firepower and accuracy of the phoenix.

But now its my turn to bitch about the stupid Vanu with thier crappy weapons and crappy tactics. I myself would be playing planetside now but i only play at weekends and my dad is working this weekend so im going forum chatting. I have noticed the vanu never actually go head on, well they do but very rarely and when they do they lose cus there shit. They are just cowardly base hoppers and in my opinion the only reason there left in the game is for target practice. The only time i lose to Vanu scum is when i meet one up close with a guass. Naturally i get owned. I hate the vanu alot they are just so cowardly! I cant actually see the point of this post but i just wish ppl would stop moaning about the TR and moan about the VS for once.... Sheesh

Glad to hear the European server chipped in. As a Vanu, let me be the first to say to you that you are absolutely right. Our weapons are crap. They are either (a) too slow, or (b) too weak, to do much of anything. Vanu is without a doubt the underdog empire. But I like the underdogs, and I have capped quite a few bases for the VS. TR and NC are for children. If you want to play Planetside as anything other than a "me gun killed u first" mentality, you play for Vanu. Vanu requires tactics and organization that NC and TR never consider. We may be weaker, but know that if our weapons are ever placed on a par with the other two empires, you NC and TR boys will be wondering what the hell hit you.

As an NC infl, my only ranged weapon is the pistol. I use it alot. I have used all three empire specific weapons, and I can say that the Mag Scatter is definatly better than the repaeater. The repeater is esentialy the sniper rifle of the pistols. It has great range for its small size. But, as an infl, range is much less important. Infls strike up close and deal out major dammage with whatever they have. And because tha main class that uss a pistol is the infl, I conclude that the Mag scatter is the superior pistol.

The trend of the whining department will now shift from the TR MAXes (fixed) to the NC jackhammers. Whatever is decided in the end I'm sure this game will be balanced within a year or so.

And there are serious issues with the Jackhammer that can be addressed. Both sides have their points. In the end, however, if the Jackhammer is not nerfed, I would like my fellow TR players to stop whining about it so much. Learn Heavy Weapons and stock pile your locker with 18 Jackhammers like I did.

On a side note, I agree that the Vanu are more underpowered than the other 2 empires. Lately, I've tried to fight NC held continents only because I feel so bad for the Barnies. No, this is not pity... well yeah... it actually is.

Yeah... it's funny but in most of the pickup squads for the TR for my server we are against the NC. I always suggest that we try to take over a VS sanctuary continent as it would be very easy XP and we'd be able to blow up a good many everything with little fear of retribution... but was ususally told no. They said they felt bad about killing so many and being able to repel them all so easily...

The VS are underpowered IMO (their MAXs, med assault, and Thresher need the most love). However, it seems like a lot of the dumbasses still play on them. I thought the opposite would be true, but it seems the SAME thing happend to EQ for the Sullon Zek server (Evil, Neutral, and Good teams): It was easier to follow an evil deity (TR) and control most uber zones right in your backyard, along with having the only classes that automatically regenerate. I wanted to play good (VS) to be the underdog... but the people were morons. There were a few gems, but it actually seemed like the stupid unintelligent people went to the good team, probably out of ignorance. I guess this is the case for the VS. The ignorant and the underdog champions are the only ones who play them.

I have a soft spot for the purple Barnies as well. It's too bad they aren't given more love by the Devs. I'm sure this will change, however, since the VS is the Dev art department's most prized creation.

Until then maybe we should strike hard against them though.. I could use a BEP boost.

The Jackhammer is good... it did suck in beta before they fixxed it and now that it is fixxed more people use it so you see lots of deaths by the jackhammer so you think, "OMG THIS THING IS OVERPOWERED!" when in reality it is just as powerful as the sweeper shotgun but it holds more in its clip, has secondary fire, fires faster and can kill MAX armor's more easily.. all this for 4 POINTS! The Gauss rifle sucks horribly, i killed more people with the Supressor than the Gauss... i usualy pick up a Pulsar than a Gauss rifle and own everyone w/ the pulsar and god forbid if i got a Cycler I'd be unstoppable. One thing the Vanu have goin for them is the Lancer, the auto sniper rifle. Last I checked it was an anti-vehicle weapon.
