they can do so much w/the stat system.
ratio of kills/death. sort kills by weapon (turrets & mines too). outfit points gained a week/month. kills a week/month. etc etc etc like a person i spoke to said, stats shouldnt be work based they should be skill based. |

I agree with PR. My kills are very low. Why? Because I am busy directing my squads and selecting the next objective. Or dealing with tactical issues.
You would be surprised at how little killing I actually do personally. I have been wacked a number of times while reading my maps, or setting/clearing waypoints. But as PR said, it is the fun of it. Just accomplishing the missions, seeing my squads progress, watching the bases go over to our hacks. Great stuff, and something that just can't be measured with a stat.

when leading squads i prefer to react, then to follow a predetermined goal.
keeping that in mind and knowing that anything can change at any given moment, I get a better feel for the people in my squads (outfit m8's) when I'm in the frontline alongside them. anyway, props to zero defiance on markov. no TR or Vanu zergs I've fought can match the fun I had fighting the near-20 ZD's earlier on Hossin. the chance at smaller tactical battles where each individual is significant is not a thing to be missed. |
