3dMark2001se and DX9.0a


I just installed 3dmark01se and it wouldnt run because it said i needed dx8.1, does it not run with dx9.0a or what?

1024mb DDR cl2
radeon 9700 pro whit det 3.2
P4S8X 1005.8 rev 1 board....

getting 4886 marks

Zatrais you're probably running 3dmark2003 not 2001. Maybe the 2001 is affected by the directx version.

I couldn't find the 2001 edition right away so I tried the 2003 since I have dx9 installed.

My score is 1013. <bleh>

1G Athlon
Radeon 9000 Pro 128M
512M PC133 RAM
Augidy sound card
Windows XP Home

I run 2001 just fine with dx9. 14,500 in 2001, 1,900 in 2003.

I haven't tried running 2001 yet. On 2003 I scored 4620 the first time and then like 4680 something the next time I did it.
