3 days, 10 hours, 56 minutes, 28 seconds until release..

I just preordered on amazon yesterday since ebgames was having some issues. I also heard a rumour that beta ends tonight....but I have not seen anything official so I wouldn't be suprised if it continues through the weekend. Funny that the gamecard costs more than the 3 months it's good for..screw that

Because.. it'll probably get here faster if I go to best buy/eb/walmart/circuit city/whatever and pick it up on release day. :-D One of them is bound to have it.

There are serious balence issues, their adding a bunch of crap that wasn't in Beta witch means it's untested and going to need tweeks. All that aside i don't think it's worth the $12.99 a month they are charging.

3-6 months after release, when the game is *done* and they aren't patching it every 2-3 days I might re-evaluate weather or not I think it's worth the money.

Beta ends tonight!?!?!?! NO!!!!!!!
I have a football game tonight, if this is the last night of beta I would love to spend it playing.

Please, can anyone confirm if beta ends today (or even this weekend.)?

Beta ends late late Saturday. Like 3am PST (Thats what Twist said they were shooting for in the beta forums)

I have not, $50 is crazy for a pay to play game, pre-orders often come late anyway, and there is always the frequent patching when it first comes out. I'll try to wait a week or two if my sick addiction lets me.

The game will never be done. That would be contrary to the whole design behind the game.

As to the original question, I don't have it pre-ordered. I don't pre-order any game no matter how much I want it...waiting on UPS or USPS takes too long when I can just go down to a store and buy it. For something that might be *really* popular, I may pre-buy it a couple of days before delivery at the store.

That whole paragraph of course ignores the fact that my computer is under half of the minimum specs, and that due mostly to that I'm not buying the game at all...but you did ask why not.

It will not be untested. They set up a Test server after release and let people test new patches before going out.
