Slash Commands

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere but...

I've been trying to find a good list of all the slash commands (especially those related to Outfit creation / maintainence). Are these available somewhere on the net or in the game?

All outfit stuff is done from the outfit window, easiest way to get tehre is shift + o. From there you can promote,kick and invite peeps.

I've done a lot of it via the Outfit window, but there are some fields that show up on MyPlanetside.com that I don't seem to have edit abilities over. Contact Info being one, and also I can't seem to find / change what the seperate Rank Titles do for people. I realize they're mostly just for organizational purposes, flavor text what have you, but I would like to know exactly what level people gain the ability to invite others, and if it's configurable.

And I'd also like to know the slash commands. Friend recently showed me alarm, which was pretty cool.

I know there is a /time

The ranks are set via the "Titles" button in outfit mangment.

Maybe I have the name wrong... but it was a way to create an alarm for yourself. Basically set either a time interval or a specific time and then let the game tell you when it's up.

I had it setup so that last night it'd let me know every time an hour went by... I still ended up going to bed three hours later than I wanted. 5AM wake up calls the suck for new release weeks.

I'm actually 95% positive that it's /alarm (I'd test, but work machine isn't powerful enough to run Windows, let alone PSide). Pops up with a really handy interface.

Can you only use /alarm once for each time you log on like the Alarm feature in EverQuest?

They orginally added that feature to EQ so you could set the alarm for 2-3 hours down the road to remind yourself to log out. They put it in about the time that the news picked up on all those people having marriage difficulties because a gamer would be playing all hours of the night.

Anyway, on EQ, you can only use the alarm clock once when you log on... you can't continaully reset it to time spawns or anything like that unless you log all the way out and then come back in. Which is why I wondered if this feature is the same.

they need to shorten /invite to /i
i hate typing "invite"

and there needs to be outfit slash commands like /oi for outfit invite.


the GUI to outfit invite is sucky.....for some reason when i am typing the name of the person to invite my keystrokes are still bound to the game....if i type "m" in a person's name the map pops up.


more slash commands would be VERY nice.

anyone know how to create macros in PS?
and does anyone know the what permissions come with reach rank in an outfit? i want to let members recuit/promote as well.

/macro lfs /b I am teh l33tz0r beta player with br such and such and all kinds of certs.

creates a chat bubble icon with word "lfs" in it and you can drop it on your quickbar so you can easily hit f5 to spam to everybody how uber you are and how you need a squad.
