Bitter tale of grief...

I think that some people should be steralized and never be allowed to reproduce. Well, maybe not really, but some people come damn close. I know there are lots of grief stories already, but they are usually entertaining so I hope no one minds.

I am a Vanu on Johari. About half an hour ago I was on Amerish at Cetan. We had taken it and the base was secure but we were down to 20% NTU's so my squad leader asked for an ant driver, I had nothing better to do so I volunteered. I drove to the nearest warp gate and filled up, then came back, we still had 7 min on the hack so i just got out of my ant and waited. Then the perpetrator (I cant be fucked to protect his name) Darth came up and said, "WTF ARE YOU DOING DEPLOY THE ANT". Of course you cant deploy at a hostile base, and because I couldn't be bothered to type a reply I just deployed the ant, and it promptly undeployed because it was a hostile base. He ran around for a little while longer, then started to run away, I took that to mean that he understood that I can't deploy it, but then he shoots me with his lasher. He didn't kill me, but I was still pissed, so i said, "wtf? I can't deploy it because its an enemy base, dont shoot me!" We then got in to an argument. He said, "Don't be a crybaby." Then I responded with, "I'm not the one going around telling people what to do when I dont know myself." Then he said, "Sorry I dont do many ant runs, how was I supposed to know that you couldnt deploy?" And I replied with, "So don't shoot me!"

I thought this was the end of it, but then Darth's squad leader (who's name I will protect becuase once he understood the situation he was very reasonable) came and killed me. Now I was even more pissed and when I saw him in a vanguard I planted a boomer next to it and detonated. Then he told me he killed me because someone told him to (meaning Darth). I was prepared to let it rest at that, but then darth deployed my ant, so that he would get the xp. I went and undeployed and redeployed so my squad would get it, then he killed me and got it again. When I respawn the second time I have revenge on my mind, but then I see that Darth has taken refuge in his squad leaders vanguard. I am standing there and I notice he is tracking me with his turret, so I run towards the tank so he cant hit me, I then run around for a while, but evetually he kills me. His squad leader sends me a tell asking why he is trying to kill me and I tell him that its because he was angry I didn't deploy my ant. By now though they have left for Verica. My squad was already there so I told them to look for Darth and kill him if they got the chance. I get my magrider so that I can get there quickly and try and kill Darth. When I finally arrive I see the vanguard sitting there with both of them in it, while now dont hold any hard feelings for his squad leader, at the time he had killed me once, and was harboring Darth.

While I certainly could have dropped it then, I was very pissed at Darth and didn't forsee any chance to get revenge in the future, so I rammed into the vanguard and started to fire. The result was me and the driver of the vanguard (Darth's squad leader) got 1000 grief points which is enough for a weapons lock. Then his squad leader was pissed because he had a weapons lock, but when I explained the situation he understood it and also in discusion with my squad leader we agreed to drop it. Throughout this time Darth was hurling insults at me and revealed that his reason for telling his squad leader to kill me, and then killing me and taking my ant was because I was a 'smart ass'. Anyway I ran around for 15 min with a weapons lock and again I thought it was the end of it. Then however I noticed Darth was following me around in a magrider, I thought he was tring to kill me and so I ran around getting behind obstacles, he never did try to kill me though, but when my weapons lock ran out he bumped against me, this then caused me to do damage to his magrider, giving me grief points, and giving me another 15 min weapon lock.

Thats when I quit and came to write this post.

Sad story, but I understand your frustration. Just keep yourself logged in while you are not at home, and your grief will go down soon enough. People piss me off just trying to write their name with bullets on the wall, let alone shooting me. I'm constantly having to tell troopers to stfu with a CEASE FIRE! The world of PS if full of FPSer's that have absolutely no patience. You have to expect them to get antsy when there is no trigger action going on. Still, it doesn't stop them from being pricks! The other night a lamer was throwing jammer grenades at friendly mines as friendlies went by them. Talk about getting pissed off! Our entire squad was killing the asshole on sight after that... what a punk.

Arnt they NC?

Aye.. 1 i understand.. But how in the heck did the squadleader get 2 of them..

1 gets blown at 1st encounter.. the other gets rammed.. In "matter of minutes"... if i understand correctly hehe.

But perhaps we talk about one and the same Vanguard here.. and then im up to date hehe. Just sounded like he had 2 Vanguards... and THATS an achivement during the short timeperiod. Makes me want to install alarm on all Vanguards .
