Or, a Smokejumper is someone who cuts in the middle of a circle they didn't put in on, not quite as glorious as the more proper usage, but still a good nick.

On a side note 2 of my uncles worked summers as Smoke Jumpers fighting brush fires in Nevada when they were younger. One of them even got caught in the fire and was not gonna make it so the other grabbed a water truck, and drove through the inferno to get to him.
