Serious Problems with the Deliverer

I just got the deliverer last night and I have a big problem. How come, when a MAGrider goes by you and it's 5 feet away you die, but when I run somebody over in my deliverer I just go over them and they don't die? Last night I ran over the same person 3 times! It should KILL them! If a bus ran you over I don't think you'd live to tell us about it.

The hit box on the deliverer is much smaller.

There is no hit box! I just run right over them. I'm talking about my front end STRAIT up in the air, it looks like a big wheelie. When I come back down on them, they still live.

It seems to vary from vehicle to vehicle, but even a Basilisk can kill someone so you would think a deliverer would easy.

I had a thresher run into me the other night. I just stood there and I sat on the front grill and road around. He drove all around and never ran me over pushing me all over the place, it was rather funny. I finaly fell out of that and he tryed to run me over again and the sme thing happened but this time I wiped out my gun and un-loaded on him till I blew all of us up. BUGS ha

I've run plenty of people over with the Deliverer. Keep trying.

Top speed helps a lot.

edit: Deliverers can also run over deployed Spitfites nicely, just watch for mines.

I used to have deliverer. I noticed there is only one way to run someone over: FULL SPEED. otherwise you just get a nice little wheelie here and there.

Hmmm. That does seemed jacked. I can run people (1 person) over in my basilisk no problem and they go splat like a bug. Anything bigger than a MAX then I go splat.

you have to clip them with the wheel or going past them turn into them so they scrape along the side, that almost always kills them at 85% speed +

full on contact usually kills them at top speed but it slows you right down and leaves you open to attack from whoever may be around.

Practise at trying to clip them Running peole over effectively in a deliverer is an art takes more skill imo than in any other vehicle (perhaps skill is not the word I am after)

So basically, top speed + hitting them with the corner of the bumper = Kill?

yup not sure on MAX units though, I think a MAX at full armour and health can survive being run over, I'll have to check it with my outfit members.

But men, definitely corner of the del at full speed (65kph +) will kill a guy.

Thats my experience, although crushing them against a tree also works wonders

Edit - Pity it is sooo vulnerable to mines, but I guess that's what mines are there to do

Yeah but I'm an engi so I enjoy clearing mine fields with my Bus. I just find a safe place to heal and do it again. Last night I did this, I drove into a heavily defended base. Hit 4 people, none of them died, cleared some mines, and drove out the other side with about 10% health. Reapaired and did it again.

Interesting/creative way to clear mines. I sure hope you tell your passangers that that's what you're going to do Serioulsy, how many mines can it (Sunderer) take before it's ready for the scrap yard?

I'm talking about the Deliverer, and it can take a quite a few mines. I'm guessing the Sunderer can take more becouse it's more heavily armored.
