thought i should post this considering it hasnt been posted yet even though i dont pay for the game..

PlanetSide: Core Combat also features: Six new massive underground war zones New Ancient-technology vehicles and weapons which can be used by all Empires Head-to-Head Urban style combat in subterranean cities Unique alien complexes to explore and conquer New underground environments from volcanic lava flows to ice caverns Ancient technology can be used by all Empires to upgrade existing surface level facilities The new weapons: MAELSTROM Source: Ancient-tech Handling: Rifle Damage: Heavy Maximum Range: Medium Refire Rate: Standard Certifications Needed: Heavy Assault The MAELSTROM has two firing modes. The primary mode creates an energy "stream" that does damage to the intended target for each moment that it stays in contact. The secondary mode allows indirect "chain-energy" grenades to be fired. These grenades will "lash" targets in the area when they explode, and then "chain-lash" other nearby targets thereafter. RADIATOR Source: Ancient-tech Handling: Rifle Damage: Medium Maximum Range: Medium Refire Rate: Medium Certifications Needed: Special Assault The RADIATOR lobs indirect projectiles that irradiate the impact zone briefly after impact. Thus, when soldiers enter an irradiated area, they begin to take damage immediately, only ceasing to be damaged once they leave the impact zone. SPIKER Source: Ancient-tech Handling: Rifle Damage: Medium Maximum Range: Long Refire Rate: Medium Certifications Needed: Medium Assault The SPIKER fires small orbs that can be detonated, by the firer, at any time after they leave the muzzle of the weapon. The power within the shot builds over time after being launched, so the longer you wait until the orb is detonated, the more damage the Spiker shot will cause. |

Well hopefully this will fill the planet back up again as it has been disapointing trying to find a battle. Plus it just sounds cool to fight underground. Maybe we will be able to move troops underground and come up in the middle of facilities owned by other empire, Gutter runner style if you will. Thatd be sweetness.
