I always kinda wanted to work in the game industry. When I was young I thought I'd like to work at Nintendo. Then I found Blizzard. Blizzard is hiring Animators, Programmers, and Cinematics Artists. I hope to be either a programmer or a Cinematics artist. So if you have any info on where I can start learning stuff like that, it'd be greatly appreciated.
I've loved MMOs since I first discovered them when I was like 8 or so. It'd be great to work at making better games for people. So post your thoughts.

there are many places to start but takes a long time to learn. get a program like 3d studio max and fill your brain with as much knowledge as you can of the program. from there you can easily learn other 3d programs.
for programming well... i can't even imagine how hard that would be. the code would be -extremely- long, complex, and difficult to do. i know basic programming and it's easy, but when you're dealing with something on a massive scale like a game project with security, networking, databasing, and everything... it's difficult. |

Something like that Lone but I gave up that dream since alot of the good studios have high requirements... Even if your arent a graphics desginer you need to come up with a demo of something... a script anything... y'know the concept of a game.

Blizzard is looking for new staff, but what they look for most in new people is experience, usually in the forms of other employers in the same field, but it could also be personal projects and or developments.
I guess what I'm trying to say is don't think that you can learn how to do these jobs and then be instantly hired by them; you'll need to work your way up.

I'd love to make games - heres something i thought up and i wish it could be a game - this is just a small sample
On a far off planet called Klamado there is a top-secret experiment facility. Within this facility people are taken from the past, humans and animals are fused, robots are made, and strange creatures are held captive. Before this facility was there animals roamed freely, but now because of pollution they have mutated and gone on rampage. Eight of the captives have escaped and their new mission has begun, to stay alive. ive got all the characters down and stuff dunno what to do with it though..
