Just saw an add in a gaming mag and thought I'd check out the site. Looks pretty good. So far it looks like a wc3 type of game, but with LOTR units. I'm excited.

played the demo.... its decent but nothing special... felt like WC3... only the names were changed to protect the innocent...

The lotr game should feel more like cnc genarals...they both use the sage engine....

I've never heard of that, but there was a rumor a couple months ago of Vivendi beginning development on a came entitled "Middle Earth Online". An MMORPG totally based off the LOTR series. Could be pretty cool

War of the Ring is based on the Warcraft 3 engine. Its exactly like W3 except with LoTR people. I'm in the multiplayer beta for it.

War of The Ring is based off the same engine for Command and Conquer Generals actually.

I dunno.... the demo was nothing special... the screenshots and previews make me want to give it a second chance..... good games can release bad demos I guess.

The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring is based of the battle realms engine

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth is based off of the Command & Conquer engine...

Ah man. So thats why the demo sucked yet the screenies and previews are so good, I got the game names mixed up... doh.... well...... can cancel this fileplanet download of the multiplayer demo right now, lol.
