Idea: Donations

Those of you who donated money, I am considering a new policy. Those who have donated and do donate in the future will recieve benifits. Such as (brainstorming here) larger avatars, possible larger sigs, and perhaps some other toys. You would have these benifits for a few months - then in order to keep these toys you must donate again.

The reason I am considering doing this is PSU costs an assload of money to run, and my funds are starting to run lower and lower. I've tried to look for sponsors to no avail. I figure if people got something else out of donating other than a little title they may be more willing to send some money PSU's way. I will do everything I can to keep this site alive, but if it means I have to move into a cardboard box I may change my mind.

If there is interest I will start this program ASAP. If not, then I will have to find some other means.

Edit: ALL DONATIONS will be handleed via Paypal, its simply too much overhead to take donations other ways.

Large avatars wouldn't be a big hit but a start. Just wondering, for those who do donate, how much do they give (at the least)?

Well just an idea, for every 10 bucks they get something (I dunno if you would start from 0 to 50 bucks donated but lets just ay its 0).

$10-kind of bigger advatar
$20-bigger sig(not size, but the kb it takes up or watever (i'm such a newb)
$30-same thing as above but for the advatar
$40-bigger sig in bot ways
$50-Ability to see post count

I'd think of more till $100, but i'm to lazy.

Yeah, I'd be willing to help. All depends how much and how often.

I dont agree with with the idea of," If you donate so much you get more things." If you donate everyone should be intitled to everything, unless its an ubsurd amount. Then maybe something a little extra would be generous.

Whenever you figure it out Hamma just let us know.

I'm all for bigger Avatars. And seeing post counts. You can also sell the ability to buy yourself a custom title (gotta make it pricey or custom titles will be teh suck). Sounds like a good idea though, i'm gonna shoot off the remaining balance of my paypal account when you figure out what your gonna sell

Ditto. I think a one time sum for stuff like custom titles and post count view would be nice. And for smaller stuff lower but bi/tri-monthly fee's.
