What is your character's "class"?

The Planetside cert system limits you in certain ways to keep people from having every vehicle and weapon available to them. This is a good thing, and far more interesting than most FPS team games' basic class systems. I'm posting this poll around the ideas I have for some of the more basic or universal character classes, as I am working on a Planetside for Newbies guide to help first timers get a handle on the various roles that they can play, and how to go about choosing their first certs once they have a picture of who they want their character to be.

I'm guessing there will be a lot of people in the Other category so please explain your cert choices, and the niche you have found for yourself out on the battlefield. If you feel you do fit into a particular role, but the certs I have chosen as requisites for it aren't listed, I'm especially interested to hear what you have to say about it! For most of these I have listed "2+ from ..." which means that if you have 2 or more from the certs mentioned, you would fall into that class. In cases where you would fit into more than one class, please vote for the one you feel is the defining part of your character, or the role that you enjoy playing more, and if you can elaborate on why you feel being a Getaway Driver is more exciting than a Foot Soldier (if those are the two that apply).

Nope, I've always been TR on Markov and Vanu on Konreid. I started an NC on Emerald but that server lags so much for me that I hardly ever play him, he's a Tank Driver though.

Oh yeah, and I voted for Saboteur even though I also fit under Squad Support. I consider myself more of a Saboteur just cause it sounds more sexy, and I hardly ever carry a glue gun or BANK around. That said, I always bring an AMS to the battle, and spend a few minutes setting up deployables before plunging into the fray.

my char is the typical CR5.
heavy assault for indoor combat (spend most of my time doin that)
special assault for maxs, and gen/spawn blowing
eng/med to fix myself up after a fight, repair my vehicle and bases
adv hacking for quick home cont resecures

I've been no-outfit for the last few weeks, this setup works very well for a solo-er.

Joined a new outfit last night, so i'll prob be dropping adv hack&mosquito and pick up re-exo, vanguard, and a 2 cert vehicle.

I'm not sure what I fit into on that list. I use a stealth hacker who drives a mosquito and sometimes pulls out some medium assault weapons or repair stuff and fights.

I rotate my cert setup fairly regularly, but I may stick with my current mix because it is great fun.

I have a sniper char and a MAX specialist character. Since I upgraded my RAM I've been playing more with the MAXes.

I blow stuff up and Lemming modules from bases who do not deserve them.

I drive mags, simple as that...if we have no tech plant, i'll go to nearest friendly cont to get one. I tried prowlers and vguards, and yeah the power rocks with em, but the manouverability of the Mag makes up for its lack of power.
