Man you need to chill with the polls. Post like one or two a week not one or two every hour. In response to the topic... no it shouldn't. If you want people to get a file just send it to them yourself or host it yourself for download and post the link.

you can just link a damn pic. Why do you need to attach it. You can also post a pic directly into your post! What more do you need?

I'd say enable attachments but limit the size of them to something low like 10kb. Then people can post small gifs or whatever, but not huge wallpapers. They can use their own webspace for that.

Host it yourself. Most ISPs give you 5mb or so of space anyway... You can link it directly into your page if you host it yourself, and it won't bog down our server any more. (which I don't really think we need to worry about now , but lots of added stuff won't help)
