Auraxis' Past, Part I

At first, our peaceful planet of Auraxis was a paradise. Alien cities lied below the ground, and a beautiful surface where some of us lived. The way of life for us was perfect. We were the Vanu, a technogically advanced species of alien.

Our life at first was primitive. It used to be a typical planet of trees, water, mountains, and the such...but later, we discovered the mantle of our planet, and began to construct cities. We found that our fair planet of Auraxis has more potential than any other. We found crystals underground when we first began to colonize. These consist of some of the most concerntrated energy in the universe.

Our life was as anyone would have dreamt, until they came.

One day, year 20446, we forsaw a foreign species of creatures coming to our planet. These creatures were called "Terrans". The Terrans were also technogically advanced, perhaps even more than we. No other species has ever set a foot on this planet besides Vanu. That fair day, was the day our peaceful way of life was slaughtered.

It happened on continent Amerish. We saw a portal appear in the thin air of the sky. Most of the Vanu withdrew, and were too cowardly to face the Terrans. But, we soon learned that they ment no harm. We don't believe the Terrans discovered us that day, and we continued to hide, for we didn't know what they would, or will do.

200 Vanu years later, the Terrans began to colonize bases on Amerish. We soon learned that these people were the Terran Republic, a single government body that lead the Terrans. We feared them much, for they beared weapons and vehicles with them. We withdrew to our underground cities, hoping they wouldn't discover them.

They soon discovered the 12 other continents. They practically colonized the whole surface of Auraxis, and was basically under Terran control. No Vanu ever dared to step out of the caves.

Then one day, someone fired a gun.

10,000 years later, a single troop, bearing no weapons, and heavily wounded, entered our caverns. We were extremely alarmed, for someone has discovered the portals that lead to our cities, the Geowarps. But, we soon learned, he meant no harm.

He wasn't wearing black and red armor. All the Terran's wore black and red armor, except this one. He was wearing Purple armor. We soon found out his story.

His name was Doop.

"...what are you?"

We understood his words.

"We are the Vanu, an alien race, concealed from the surface, which is colonized."
"...a Vanu..."
"Yes?" We were puzzled.
"I've always wanted to meet one. I am Doop, of the Vanu Sovereignty. We are an empire fighting the war on the surface, representing your race."
"...the war?" We were shocked.
"Yes...a war. It broke out about twenty earth years ago."
"So, you...won't harm us?"
"No, we are trying to emulate your race. We will stand up for you in any way."

As soon as his words came out, it was like a fountain of hope. We had a chance of going back to the lifestyle we had before. We knew that the Vanu Sovereignty means no harm against our race. We must take them under our wing.

"How did you find us?"
"I was being chased by two scout aircraft. Soon, I saw what looked like a Warpgate, except it had a giant metal ball in the middle. I ran into it, and no longer could their shots hit me. I stepped into the light, hoping I'd warp to a home continent, and arrived here."
"What is that weapon you have...that rifle, on your back."
"This is a Pulsar. It's a medium leveled assault weapon based on particle accelerating ammo. It has an alternate mode that increases the particle pulse, thus it hits vehicles harder."
"Why is the war happening, and who does it consist of?"
"Well...we were all first one governing body, the Terran Republic, that came here through a wormhole. Then, we colonized Auraxis, but the wormhole closed. Soon, the Terran Republic branched out into two other empires, the Vanu Sovereignty and the New Conglomerate."

"We...we are willing to assist your empire in this war." We knew this was our only hope.
"...how so?"
"Come..."

First, we showed him the technology we have in our cities. We showed him the zipline, our main method of transportation. We showed him the crystals, which had the power to repair armor, heavy armor, health, and weapon ammo. We also showed him the three weapons that we use, the Maelstrom, Radiator and Spiker. Then, we showed him our ancient technology vehicles, the Flail artillery tank, the Switchblade ATV vehicle, and the Router teleportation vehicle. He was shocked to see all of this.

"This...would help a lot for us. Let me contact the council..."

He pulled out a radio from his holster. We saw him toggle with some switches, and then he talked into it.

"This is Doop, I.D 454825, contacting Kengo. I have discovered something...that will turn the tables of this war."
We then heard a deeper voice.
"Yes?"
"I have discovered the Vanu, and their underground city."
"..."

There was a long silence.

"...define."
"About 5000 meters north of base Cetan, Amerish is a peculiar looking warpgate. I was being chased by Mosquito aircraft by the Terran Republic, and was treed into here. I then warped, and arrived in this underground city with a lot of crystals. I then met the Vanu."
"Please, make sure they don't attack us..."

The deeper voice began to speak again.

"...the council will be down there in three hours."

"This is amazing", said Kengo.
"Yeah...the Vanu combined with the power of the Vanu Sovereignty will truly win Auraxis over."
"And, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Khalto, the head commander of this race."
"Roger that. Khalto, you are being promoted to a head commander if the Vanu Sovereignty," said Kengo.

I knew that we had hope now. We had to supply them with everything we have.

"And I, Khalto, will give you all the help we can give...first, follow me."
We took a long walk through the cavern. Doop healed his wounds on a red crystal, a crystal that could heal, and tied tightly onto our respawning technology.

Eventually, we arrived at the Core.
"The Core of a cavern has an energy beam called the "Stasis". If you can get an un-charged Module from one of the Module complexes in a cavern, you can charge a Module in that light beam. These modules will help you significantly..."

"Interesting," said Doop.
"I will show you."

I took them to the Module Complex and got an un-charged Module. I then went to the Core again and charged it. I took them to one of our natural technology plants, and showed them to the bottom.

"This is a Crystal Generator, a large blue crystal that can harness the power of the other crystals to power our facilities. The seven holes around it are module receptacles. Watch what happens when I put this module I charged into it..."

I put it in, and a purple shield appeared at all our enterences.

"...wow."
"This is a Shield Module. This prevents all vehicles from coming in through every enterence to a base. In addition to that, no enemy fire can go through the shield."

"Good, this will help us a lot. Is that the only kind of module?" asked Kengo.
"Yes. There are shield modules, healing modules, speed modules, pain modules, equipment modules and vehicle modules."

"May we take one of each to the surface and try it out?"
"Go ahead."

They took one of each module. They went back up to the surface, and went to Oshur, which was currently under attack.

"Now, we must take these to Hvar. That base is being hit the hardest. I suppose we must take them to the Generator," said Doop.

They put all of the modules into the receptacles. Then, what happened just there, turned the tables of the whole war on Auraxis.

Interesting way to incorporate all of the CC stuff, instead of it just being there all of a sudden. Really good.

"What the hell?!"
Obbyson was the leader of the whole New Conglomerate. They were currently preforming a raid on Oshur, and attacking Hvar.

"...this is horrible...our troops in the spawn rooms are losing health, the enemies seem to be able to run faster, there's a shield preventing armor from getting into the courtyard..."

"Sir, what's happening?!" 321 screamed.
"I don't know...whatever it is, it's something that will make it so we won't get that base."

"They're completely repelled! This saved the battle for Hvar!" yelled Doop.
"Yeh...these modules are a kick. I suppose we should go to the cavern, now dubbed Supai, and ask about the ancient technology vehicles and weapons...but first, I have come up with a plan."

Kengo took his radio out and toggled the frequency to "Commander Chat".
"Attention all commanders...meet at the Sanctuary Council Building, at once."
Doop and Kengo took out their RD's (recalling devices) and in ten seconds, they were at their sanctuary.

There was the council, lined up in seven chairs. There was Doop, Exano (code name 860), Skech, Francko, Quadratic, Millerbug and Taal, and Kengo on the pandemonium.

"Fellow commanders..."
The other members knew that this was going to be important. They were called back from a big battle, and it's not like Kengo to do that.
"Yesterday, our own Doop discovered an incredible secret...our gods, the Vanu's, have been discovered."
The other members were shocked.

"We have met them, and made an alliance with them. They have shown us Modules, their underground cavern cities, the Crystals, and vehicles and weapons powered on ancient Vanu technology..."
The other members were listening closely.

"This may seem horrible and barbarian, but this is the right thing to do. We must attack the Vanu, and take over all of their resources."
As soon as those words left his mouth, everyone was suprised...but Doop was terrified...and mad. The Vanu were like gods to him. He would never let them be attacked.

"We will gather all our troops and attack Supai, one of the underground caverns, tomarrow."

The next day, Doop bought his Mosquito to the coast of the Esamir sanctuary village. This day, a sincere, and important day for him, he was going to leave the Vanu Sovereignty to join the New Conglomerate. He wouldn't stand seeing the Vanu being slaughtered for no reason. A tear left his eye.

"Goodbye, Vanu Sovereignty...I've served you well, but I won't let the Vanu die. This empire is supposed to protect the Vanu, not attack them."

With that, he got into his Mosquito, and flew north...and didn't plan to stop.
