AV/Deci damage change

why don't they just make the deci do current AV damage against MAX's and make AV do deci damage against cars (small planes discluded) and that's it? I mean it's not like deci is a cert for itself, it comes with 2 more, and AV has better aim, so they both will still be used.

Erm? i did not get a thing you just said...but ill try to make a statment is responce why change the decimator its fine the way it is...and AV is fine the way it is.

Leave the Decimator the way it is. It's called a Decimator because it is supposed to decimate. Buff ALL the av though.

I don't want to have to shoot all three decimator rockets, then swap in my second and fire three more just to kill one Max. Why couldn't they have just left the old Striker alone? At least then it took longer to kill a Max, for most people of my empire at least, and that would mean less people would be bitching now.

All i know is when i have my phoenix i shoot one up and i scout the area to see what i have for targets and to give my squad a heads tatacial information...if i see a helpless little grunt i launch another right in his face (yes i know the phoenix does not do well agents grunts) but still its fun to scare the heck out of them.

They gave vehicles more armor precisely because they were getting torn apart by massive numbers of av users. AV does its job--it drives away vehicles.

When av was overly deadly, everyone certed in it and tanks didn't last 30 seconds in light enemy fire.

I think it took around 5 or 6 to take down a magrider which is alot but they have good distance on them so i can usally take out any tank i see if i have a good vantage point

Deci should be a common-pool AV. SA and AV are both 3 point certs, and this way they would both give access to 2 weapons.

It makes sense from a training perspective as well - operating the rocklet is very simmilar to the thumper. One shoulder-fired rocket launcher is similar to the rest.
