I started with the name xredice, it just kind of evolved after years of gaming. Then the "l33t" generation started to spawn outwards into all areas of the unternet and gaming, and I was just left with r3d.
That was a few years ago, I've just stuck with it.

I mainly play FPS games, I kill (frag) alot, someone said I just do it automatically (in response to him jumping out in front of me and me blasting his head off before he could get a shot in)

So, hence the name Fragmatic was born

Back when I was starting out on EnB was attempting to get the name Magnum, it was taken, so I tried a few others and ended up with Mag.

When I played CS for the first time back in late '99early 2000, everyone was 13375n1per or KewlDude or some LAMENESS, and I wanted something classier, but would be remembered.. and Mr.Rogers (my last name) wasn't gonna do it, so I took my middle name, and that as they say is that.

well part of it comes from back when I played CS I was often the last person alive (and won quite often)

Mine's strange. I used to be Crazypsyduck for a few years, then for a bit I was Aquablueduck, then it finally became Mr. Duck. I stuck with that for a few years, until I was banned on the forums I used it. I had tried to reconcile with an enemy site to stop the flame war, but our owner was a dick. I was a senior mod, the highest rank possible on a 2000 member board, I was a forum god, there were only two people higher ranked than me, I had the rank with which to try and make official diplomacy. He didn't want me trying to save everyone in the game from a lot of shit between our two sites, and banned me.

I signed on for another game at some point, I think it may have been PS. I was looking for a name, and being the 1337 |-|/-\><><()4 that I am, I made this name. It was just a joke name, kinda like saying LOL in game to test out a new font or something to see how it looks, just something to use space.

Mine comes from Cowboy Bebop, during the light-hearted, drug-induced hijinks of Mushroom Samba. As Spike (main character) is walking up an infinate staircase (high on shrooms, mind you) he sees a frog sitting on a step. The frog says: "This is the stairway to heaven, son. Don't say I didn't warn you." Spike in return goes: "Obnoxious little frog..."

I didn't actually take my name from the word Renegarde. It evolved over the course of several years: Gar, Rengar, Renegar, and then finally Renegarde (I occasionally use "American Renegade," but for some reason PS won't allow "America" in a name). It's quite original, since I've never had problems with it already being taken. Which is kind of wierd, considering how similar it is to the word "renegade."
