as i was browsing the PSI sight i saw the slang of the day:
Random Slang Skeeter:A slang term used to describe the Mosquito, possibly because people have an inability to spell Mosquito properly. Common Usage: Going out to pop Cherries in my Skeeter. now "Going out to pop Cherries in my Skeeter." i dont know about you but back in what i shall i refear to as the day ( late 80's easrly 90's) when i was still a cool teenager "Cherry poping" or "Poping someones cherry" was refearing to taking a girls viginity, so when i read this i thought, wow, that sounds like, realy dirty, the people at PSI have filthy minds" Is it their minds that are filthy or could they all be so young they have never heard it used in the way we used it "back in the day?" Incidentaly i do call them skeeters cause i cant spell Mosquito. Last edited by Tobias; 2002-11-06 at 01:20 PM. |

I'd think that they know what it meant back in the day, because to the best of knowledge it's still means the same thing. Then again I'm from the Class of '91 so I stopped being cool a few years back I'd guess.
Then again maybe it does have a new meaning, because I'd hope that by Cherry Popping Age you'd be using something bigger then a "Skeeter" |

A cherry is often used to describe a new recruit in the army ...
If you're going to pop a cherry, you're going to cap a n00b in the face ... or so it seems. Either that or they do have sick minds.
