Favorite Battle Island First Impression?

Just thought I'd start a poll and see which battle island everyone is looking forward to the most based on the information we've been given.

I personally like Ascension because it's more of a "3D battlefield" when compared to any of the other islands. The tactical emphasis is on siezing the high ground instead of rushing their base immediately. The switchback trails also let infantry attack from directions that vehicles can't go.

Upon first glance, it looks like I'm absolutely gonna' love Extinction. I've always loved bridge battles, I've always loved strategic, sneaky fighting, and I've always loved trippy tactical insertions. 1+1+1=3; 'nuff said.

I agree with Early... gimme the "11 Bravo" slugfest.

I personally like Ascension the best for the same reason Early stated.

But I must admit that Extinction comes in a close second. The choke points and bridge battles will be very cool.

Desolation looks like something out of Command and Conquer Renegade , and that one of my all time favorite games.

Gonna say Accension. Looks like a great place for snipers...and a great place for infiltraitors to sneak up on snipers or other unsuspecting troops. With switchbacks, it maybe a good idea to carry a few more jammer grenades...never know what around the corner.

More Bridge Battles = More Underwater Infiltraitor knife fights.

Desolation will be interesting, just to see how well non-vehicled infantry will do. I doubt they'll be lasting long unless they run for the groves and the saftey of the trees.

After that, though, Desolation gets my vote - looks like there will be some fantastic armor maneuvering.

I agree. although I hope they dont toss a good continent. I bet esamir or ceryshen will go, with a possiblity of oshur or forseral.

Id like to see what kind of tactics people come up with on these new, different kind of map.
