Devs, lock the servers and level the playing field.

Message to all Devs who read here.

Please, lock the servers down to one empire per server? The population imbalance on certain servers is absolutely intollerable. You are slowly loosing people who are dedicated to certain empires. People who have sworn that this is a great game. Now, their faith is slowly eroding like the empire populations. I cannot and will not post this over on the OFs, as I believe they are a haven for people who cannot understand the game the same way as those of us over here do.

If you cannot do this, please respond as to why this cannot be done. All we need are some answers. Not asking much at all. Feel free to PM me if you wish to take this private.

Screw private. Let's get this shit out in the open. Loyal fans have been screaming for months that we want it one empire per server. If you want to empire hop on Markov or Emerald or Werner, buy a damn second account. If you want to play different teams, there's three friggin' servers and three friggin' empires. Do the math. Three minus three equals zero.

I am tired of seeing players log out as one side and come back as another. I am tired of seeing switch-hitters shifting. "Oh no, the Vanu are losing! Better go NC so I can XP-whore myself to death." Come on- this is flat-out ridiculous.

IT IS NOT FUN WHEN YOU LOG IN AND SEE NO BASES AND A SIXTY PERCENT POP FOR ONE EMPIRE.

And get off my nuts, people. The solution is not to join them. I play TR, and TR alone. If you don't, nobody cares- I didn't ask anyone to see it my way.

I agree, force people to play one empire on one server. That or find a way that gives more BEP/CEP to defend vs. attack...and make it a large difference, not a marginal one.

Agreed.

Find a fix for the pop balance.

Make empire incentives according to global pop not cont pop.

Make fixed permament links from sanc to continents.

I honestly do not believe we should lock the populations. That will simply cement the problem. We need to overbuff the TR in all areas to sway the population over to TR, then when it hits roughly equal, lock it down.

He means lock one of the empires(IE: Emerald NC) so that you cant create chracters for that empire any more, but you can still make chracters for the other empires..

I understand that. But it will still cement the situation in place because everyone will know if they leave NC they can't come back. They need to massively overbuff TR to bring the forth empire over, and then make each server monoempirical again.

Yea, the first empire to break whatever pop level, lets say 37% gets lock. No more logins to that empire. Make it a dynamic thing. Not permalock.

I don't care about my TRs...

1. Broadcast warpgates are horrible
2. 1 empire per server needs to be re-implemented. If you want to be an empire hopper, you need to *pay* for it.
3. Devs need to fucking LOOK at the tr and realize WHY we are in these situations to begin with.

As stated over on the offical forums, on that huge thread that has gotten no dev attention as of now. Devs need to stop basing the entire game on numbers. Devs need to look what players accually do.

Shit, on top of that, their damn math is screwed up most of the time.

For 13 god damn bucks a month I want to have fun. I dont want to be in the army. I dont want to sit on my ass and do nothing.

The second that the game no longer is fun, is when you start having problems. People switch. Populations become unbalanced. More people switch or leave the game all together.

The devs need to get their shit together, or they are going to be out an empire soon.
