Just A Heads Up

Now that our very own Infernus has taken the extraordinarily brave step of coming out and admitting that he was gay to the whole PSU community, I have a personal favor that I need to ask each attendee of PSU:MA.

What none of us who haven't done it could possibly understand is how hard it is for a person to admit to their friends and family that they are gay. There is a tremendous amount of expectation attached to a person by outside sources, and most of it is put there by parents.

Infernus, while incredibly brave for telling this massive community, has yet to feel ready to tackle his biggest hurdle - telling his parents.

The reason I made this thread was because Infernus's dad will be attending PSU:MA. I'm writing now to ask any of you who are coming to refrain from making any jokes/comments pertaining to his sexual preference, whether his dad is around or not. I don't think I have to mention this at all, but I'd rather not assume.

Also, let's show some support for Infernus - the kid's done something ballsier than most of us will ever do in our lifetimes!

To be honest, making fun of gay people is weak. If I hear that shit at PSU:MA I'm gonna punch someone in the fucking throat if Triggar beats me to it. I absolutely despise cowardly inbred homophobes that have to make fun of someone because of their sexual preference.

Er... I for one try not to take offense at that stuff... most times people just say it as a joke and most times I can tell... if something bother's me... usually I will confront you... but I wont start an arguement... thats for dicks...

Inf, i'm proud of you. Not because you're gay, because no one is proud of anyone for being straight so that's just dumb. I'm proud of you because you had the fortitude to be able to tell people even in a shitty, awful, horrible, mean, and despicable world like this. So many people out there are ignorant, sick assholes. I hope no one ever fucks with you, and if they do, you tell me, i'll eat their heart right in front of you. If that makes you a little squeamish, then i'll do it in the comfort of my own home.
