I feel bad for people like that. At some point, you need to be able to grasp that what is, is. The most common question (Where did the universe come from, if not from God) is often the most irrelevant.

Our reality is what is set before us. If nothing "created" God, why did something have to create the universe?

What makes our G'd any different or more/less real than the gods of other religions? Ours says there is only one G'd. Theirs says there were more than one. Who's right? Us, because we survived and they didn't? Faith answers that for you - if you lack faith then you're already dead, so to speak.

Firefly, you seem to be a reasonable person when it comes to religion. I have no problem with people like you. I start to become enraged when I come across these religious fanatics who oppose progress. You appear to have no problem with human development, so I applaude you for not being a zealot.
