LaunchPad problem

my sorry ass system specs :
1 gig athlon
512 mb kingston pc2100 ddr ram
wd 40 gig hd
soyo k7t dragon mobo
geforce 2 mx400 64 mb
xp pro

I let a friend borrow my cds when i hooked him up with a trial. And i cant reinstall cause the bastard moved off and didnt give em back. Cant dl it cause im on dialup. The reason i still got it on my system is because i copied it to a frieds comp before i did the reformat. Thats what he has been doing with his and he hasnt had any problems when he would move his back after a reinstall.

I still dont understand why the hell i cant log onto the official forums. I can logon everywhere else in the site but when i go to the forums i lose it . And when i try to logon there it keeps asking me for my username and pass every time i try to post something.
