Should they switch Lightning into Armored Assault, and Flail into a combo with Harraser?

No fucking way. Too many people have light scout and flail spam is common as it is. Also how in any way does a flail count for light scout? I like how it is now.

Im up for bringing the heavy buggy into the med tank cert, and moving the flail to its own, this would prevent as much spammage.

I presume this is to balance the flail. In that case, no, because I think this skirts the issue. Flails need far less armor, and less speed as well. Once they're made into actual artillery, rather than really tough turrets, they will be fine in the Armored Assault cert. Further, harassers suck quite a bit, but if they had better off-road ability (more torque, same with ATVs) they'd be better. A more powerful gun and better fire angle would be good too though.

While you are at it give my beloved bassy the ability to survive 1 landmine. A damn cloaker can take a mine and live but my armored assult bike cant..... wtf?

Nah I like the Lightning/harasser combo. Harasser can be useful... especially in quick LLU runs.

light scout is 3 cert points, that far too little. instead, Armored Assualt should be increaded to 5 because you get your tank and flail, both dominate the battlefield

But 5 cert points would be too much for the people without Core Combat, cause then they'ed only have the Empires Tank. Flail should probaly go into a new cert, maby Artillery and add a much less powerful, non-Ancient Tech Artillery, and this cert could cost 4, or maby even 5 cert points, but 4 would probaly be best.

The flail should be it's own three point cert, possibly packaged with ATV as compensation for how often the flail is unavialable. I agree with Warborn on the neccessary changes to the flail as well, but I also think it needs to be changed so its fire arcs are much higher. Armored assault doesn't need anything, empire tanks are good enough to stand on there own.

The main thing the Harrasser needs is (other then more torque, which is always nice) immunity to mines (its a scout vehicle, yet it dies to CE so fast its almost useless for scouting) and/or a radar similar to the mosquitos, that continues to scan even when going full speed (skeeters cut off at around half throttle iirc.) The 12mm is fine, you can really fuck up infantry with a good gunner, and a little more armor would be nice too.
