meh the big leauges are just no fun anymore.

The new northern leauge is cool though, and tickekts on the 1stbase line are like $8. It's far more fun than MLB to watch.(and KC's teams got to the semi finals, atleast)

This yers wild card race is a story worth telling, on August 15th Houston was left for dead, like 7 games OUT of the wild card.

Today they are the Wild Card thanks to a 19 game home winning streak.

I hope they go on strike again. With all the assaults lately it's as bad as the NBA. Maybe the Yankees will sign Jason Williams, he can just shoot the people in the crowd (cause we know he won't get a conviction) and then Nelly can buy the Padre's. Yeah, that'd work. Or maybe they'll realize, that like Hockey, most Americans don't give a fuck and show some more football. Shit I'd rather watch EU soccer than Baseball.

i must say that i am actually as excited as Mr. V. i'm kind of a sports fiend, heh. he's right, this year's wild card race is pretty fucking good.

I can live with people saying "Baseball sucks, rabble rabble..." but when you start saying NASCAR is better, then I get mad. I like Motorsports, Indycar, F1, the Le Mans series, yea theyre all great. but being an awesome tailgater and turning left isnt much of a sport.

NASCAR is bullshit. How about sticking the actual Stock Cars out there. When's the last time anyone saw a two door taurus? I think it'd be much more interesting if they put the actual stock cars out there. Most of those fuckers can get up past 100, and to be honest, a race at 100 mph and one at 200 mph aren't much different. Just make the track shorter or have less laps. Then the fucking races would be much more interestting. Plus, motor corporations would use the races to prove their car's ability over another's. The car would mean something again. That's what STOCK car racing used to be. It wasn't just the skill of the driver, it was the quality of the car. This bullshit with all the cars being essentialy equal has GOT to go. Drives me up a wall. Stock cars my ass. I don't watch NASCAR because of that shit. I love motorsports. I love sports in general. So, it pains me to see what NASCAR has turned stock car racing into. such a crock of shit.

Yeah I want the original NASCAR back, but they do all this crap in the name of safety and fans...so meh.

Still a great sport, no matter how derailed.
