Excellent. Can't wait for Tuesday, sounds like the things are actually balanced now.

Someone reads my posts evidently.

Good news. BFR vs BFR combat will be short and brutal after this patch.

Was it you I had the "removing them from the game equals months of wasted effort" discussion with? If not, well, there you have it. I know the BFR removal bandwagon has comfy seats, but let's try to keep things realistic.

That will never happen, so expect to be sad for a long time.

This is good news. I love the concept of BFRs, and now it looks like the execution will be good as well.

This patch still doesn't give any reason for a BFR to "fear" infantry.

I think that if a BFR is stupid enough to let infantry get close, then an emp should disable run mode, shields, and weapons for 5 seconds.

Because then, when a BFR starts fighting another BFR, and an infil hits him in the foot with an EMP, the BFR pilot will scream like a little girl in horror.

And if they don't want that to happen, then they'll wait for infantry support to keep enemy infantry and their emp nades away.

I think that was the point anyway, to create battles with large fronts between bases?

Oh good, we have someone who can see into the future among us. Now that you're done telling us how these changes all play out, how about you tell us who'll win the American elections?

But without being sardonic, yes, this patch most likely does give BFRs reason to fear grunts. Infantry AV weapons do more damage to BFRs, and BFR shields have been reduced in effectiveness. Infantry AV fire will now most likely be a serious threat to BFRs, and combined infantry AV fire will probably be enough to chase off if not destroy BFRs.

Naw, I just think you're jumping to conclusions about how these changes will play out. Give them a chance before you declare them ineffectual.

Dont like the changes. Soon, everything will be able to take down a bfr, not just infrintry. Why not increase infrintry power over bfr, not lower bfr power

Making it unfare to bfr pilots that are not killing whors
