I think this is in the wrong forum.

BFRs are faster than walking. They were purposely slowed down because they were running too fast. They'd be able to hightail it out of combat whenever their sheilds failed them. It's not the case anymore.

I look at BFR as "Mobile Artillery", but if you want to go fast you should get the flying variants. If BFRs were fast, they would simply be too much.

I know they could hightail it out of combat like that, but now its just slower than a tank.. its terribly slow and hard to get place, and im not a pilot
speaking for my brother here.

Get a lodestar if you don't want to walk places. They aren't going to be sped up because some people don't like how long travel times are. As was said, running out of combat kept BFRs alive really, really long. The reduced speed is meant to remedy that. If it has the side-effect of making some people not want to use a BFR because they're slow to get around with, I don't see anything wrong with that.

Well isn't the VS sort of philosphy to be versitile? I am not seeing where it is coming in here >_> (I would be happy if someone enlightened me) But if you can't "high tail" it out of battle at least lower the damn timer, and as much as you guys like to think the BFR is a 1337 ownge machine, it's not, we still do and always have relied on everybody else to help us againts those cloaking bastards and air cev pilots with decis. And Sanibus, I was going to make the same topic ^_^

It makes sense for BFRs to be slow lumbering giants. Probably one of the only reasons you'd ever create a lodestar (the only three others I can think of are bypassing CY forcefields, bypassing bridge battles and Ceryshen).

If they're gonna be lumbering giants I want them to be able to stick up to more than 6 deci shots

I don't think a slight increase in speed's gonna save them from that

How about making them immobile so the game will be fun again?

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly.
