Sanctuary last stand...

I have a rather interesting idea. Here it is:

*If you lock both of an empire's home continents, you can enter their sanctuary.
*When both conts are locked, weapons can be fired on that sanc.
*2 of the 3 HART buildings on the sanc are hack-able.
*A force dome is activated around the HART with a Broadcast WG
*That force dome cannot be taken down under any conditions
*HART buildings have CC's in the observation deck (the room with the lockers and 2 equipment terminals)
*HART buildings would have 30 minute hack timers, and once controlled by an empire, all surrounding vehicle terminals, spawn tubes, and the HART can be used by the owning empire to drop anywhere on the sanc (except on the force dome)
*BFRs cannot be brought in by an enemy empire, but they can be purchased from a BFR terminal on the sanc
*Spawn times from sanc spawn tubes is 5 seconds. AMS spawn times remains 15 seconds.
*Vehicles have no re-purchase timer
*BFRs have a 20 minute re-purchase timer
*The empire who's in the last stand will have a +20 health incentive, ALWAYS
*Even if the attacking empire holds 2/3 of the HART buildings, the third will still have a Force Dome around it, and as such it is a "safe zone"
*Pop-lock would be 600 (300 per empire)

I realize that there's a LOT of logic with this. But I think it would create very interesting combat scenarios. Please send your replies. I want to see what ppl think of it here before I post it on OF.

You can't pop lock the 'sanced' home empire, unless you want to block people from logging in

This idea is older than the Ancient Vanu. Literally.

This defeats the entire purpost of home continents because if you can only come into the enemy sanc if you have both home continents (through the sanc gates) and those are latticed to the 2 HART buildings near those WPG's, people would just auto go to the enemy sanc whenever, and completely prevent the enemy from retaking their home continents, thus, they aren't really home continents because you can be prevented from retaking them from an off continent lattice link. This would make the entire home continent system irrelevant and thus, taking out the home continents. Therefore: /nosign Sorry, but it would just make a huge part of the game 100% obselete. I'm thankful that you are willing to come up with ideas and have enough courage to share them, and I encourage you to continue to do so. But unfortunately, I think this idea is flawed. =(
