Ok so back in early January, I went to the gun the show mostly just to look. But this guy was selling a whole bunch of sten parts for $30 bucks, after tax and some ATF fine. Had to convince my dad, then I told him it was Sten like in CoD and he said alright (my dad is a huge CoD nut and has over 400 hours on xfire). The good news is that I have all the internals, the bad news is the reciever was cut in two with a blow torch. I bought it, even though it was a bunch of old parts in a brown bag. I originally wanted to buy a semi-automatic trigger grouping, instead of having to convince the dad to get a Class III licence. Then I found out that the barrel is illegal, and that a small rifle barrel permit costs just as much as a Class III licence
I could get a semi trigger grouping, longer barrel, and new reciever. But that costs ALOT of money and I dont know too many Sten SMG experts that could assure that it would even be safe to fire assuming I got all those parts. So my plans are to someday get a new reciever and then assemble it and turn it into a nice shelfpiece replica. Anyway, here are the pictures.
