What's the point of it?
I have a newbie char, Caldari.. mining atm. Just bought a Bantam... Mining like mad, have some 120k atm and jsut mining as I browse the web. Which is peaceful, and relazing So anyway anyone got some prime tips and hints about what to do with the game?? Oh and for some reason.. the game never gave me the second tutorial courier mission, but the agent says when I finish it.. I can meet her contact... really annoying atm.

There really is no 'point' or 'end' to the game. Ther eare no levels, just skill points, which go into the millions when you play long enough. So you can't really 'win' at this by getting the highest level, because as long as they keep making new items for this game, they will require you to train for them with skill books, which increases your Skill points. So you willl probly NEVER have the "last level" or whatever.
Which is why I liked it I know it might piss off my parents, but I might ask them to cancel my WW2ol account and start up my EVE one again, if PSDU is truely getting back together without the teddybears ruining the fun. I almost had 2 mill SP too =\ and a damn Medium mining barge. (The last week I played, I did it by myself, mining with my barge, which sucked while hearing all your ex-corp members killing shit in Alliance space and PVPing like hell.) |

My GOD I hated that game. Remember: No matter what you do, or how hard you work, you will never get as far as the older players. Ever. |

Let me put it this way. EVE is awesome for some people. Usually those are the people who are patient enough to stick around in the game for a few weeks and get involved in PVP and an active fun corp. Most people who just mined and ran agent missions for a few weeks after starting generally get bored and leave.
And DaShiznit, you're entirely wrong. You can spend a month or so maxing out your frigate skills and be just as effective as the people who've been playing for 2 years. If you want to be the battleship pilot who has every skill to level 5 and can WTFPWN anybody in BS PVP fights you're going to need to put some time into it though. Its very easy to specialize in EVE. Theres so many different types and classes of ships that you have every opportunity to become an expert at flying whatever you want. |

trust me, it aint as good as you think, there is more to this game than being in a alliance and having alot of skill points and being in a war, if you expect to fight, and kill, and be the victor of the day, you need unit cohesion, and our alliance just dont got it do the degree our foe does. |
