Halo 3 Dead?

Has anyone read the new Game Informer article about Halo 3.
It says Bungie and Microsoft are denying the existence of Halo 3.
But it does talk about the possibility of a Halo:Forerunner which sounds cool and it even talks about a Halo movie in 2007.

But I'm wondering if it's going to come out when PS3 comes out because I always wondered which more poeple will buy.

PS3 will outsell some generic FPS...

But then Halo will probably be cheaper then the PS3 so you got to wonder will most poeple get there paychecks on that day.

You can't really compare a console and a game for another console o.o

I can almost certainly say they WILL release halo 3. The way 2 ended if they didn't I would have to reunite an evil corporation that may or may not have installed door hinges to physically force Halo 3 out of bungie.

True,but I know some poeple who bought an x-box just for Halo and Halo 2...

Seeing as I haven't received aforementioned game informer. Anybody wanna tell me exactly what it says in regards to a new halo?

It basically says that there is no title name Halo 3 in development, Bungie is working on a project called forerunner that is likely to take place before the events of Halo, and that there is an excellent chance that a Halo game is in development but they arent calling it Halo 3. Also, it talks about how the movie is based on the book "The Fall of Reach"

If you've ever read the halo books, fall of reach would be an awesome choice for gameplay. There are actually other spartans. There's a sniper, crazy gunner guy, and some other people. Theres about 3 people other than master cheif who are important, so there could be possiblility for 4 player co-op.

I hope there is a direct sequel since Halo 2's story line sucked balls; to the first strike book and the game.

If there wasn't a Halo 3 it would ruin the Halo line.

PS If they don't make a book first I'll kill them.
