To be fair: Lucasarts publishes games not movies. Lucasfilm is what your talking about I guess.

I didnt see the whole fuss about releasing the late 90s improved versions, but alot of hardcore star wars fans wanted the originals released. Over 80,000 signatures for a petition. I dont think thats exploited if that many want it.
