Also, Firefly, can you explain the French Foreign Legion to me? The way I understand it is that you can be from any country with any past (running from the law, i.e. murderer, rapist, bamby killer) and they with give you a new identity with a new name and new date of birth when you join. They don't fight French wars but they are sort of like mercs for the French Government.

So I don't know if any of that was true. Thought you might now.

Well it was pretty much the only way for criminals to run and have a new life... free from the witch-hunting.

Imagine being wanted in half a dozen countries...
