Well, I had the pleasure of walking past the people waiting outside my best buy and purchasing dead rising and another 360 controller right in front of them. I think I'm gonna pass on the ps3 all together, even after it drops in price.

I feel like a hypocrit after what I said in the other thread about not wanting to get a new system. I think I'm going to get the 360 after all. Can't think of anything better to get for Christmas.

I am more than satisfied with my 360, I thought it would be another discarded console after a month that I only dusted off when friends came over or I needed a break from my PC, but it seems the tables have turned on my PC. Might have something to do with the lack of games that appeal to me being out right now.

Kikin... ask for some cash instead. Put it into a bank account and then think real hard about what you want... then spend the money. Best thing you could do. Have to think about the future and not do like me.

Gears of War, Dead rising, Chromehounds, The halo games (Halo 3 next year, just something to look forward to), Army of two to look forward to as well, those are a few that pop into my head. As well as every good game the ps3 will have, hopefully even MGS 4 eventually (MGS 2 came out, maybe 4 evetually). I heard the PS3's media functions whooped the 360's. And so what if MGS4 goes to 360? Resistence, Killzone, Warhawk, Lair, etc/, are still all exclusive to PS3. That Will not change.

I want a PS3 because I have a PSP, and the 2 can integrate and communicate seamlessly.

For example. You can fire up a DVD or Blu-Ray movie on your PS3, then turn on your PSP, wirelessly link it to the PS3, and the movie begins to play on the PSP. Who says you need to pause the movie while you go get a drink?

It's stuff like that what gets me pulled in.

Resistance, from what I hear isn't that great, I haven't even heard of Lair or Warhawk, and Killzone wasn't very special. And there is no way the PS3's media functions top the 360's. The ps3 runs on Linux.

The PSP is quite compatible with the 360, not wirelessly (yet, homebrew, maybe even officially.) Blu Ray isn't really that great, just another thing like that UMD crap, or beta. Look how much good those did. HD DVD my friends.

Resistence gets a 9.1 on IGN, last I heard, thats an Editors Choice. I cant help that you havent heard of Lair or Warhawk. And your comment on Killzone can be reversed onto Halo.

More Studios are backing Blu Ray than HD-DVD. Much more money and support is in BD, than UMD and Beta. http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/
