A question

Ok this is to anyone who knows about these things.
I have no idea if this is possible but the thought crossed my mind.
Was the engine for The Agency made at sony and is it possible that this is the "new" engine they are using for PS:N ?

I really don't know about these things my expertise lies elsewhere so don't bite my head of if its a stupid question.

I doubt it. From what we've seen SoE is determined to get that massive battle as far as the eye can see back to the new game. AFAIK the agency was an adhoc / instance game. PSN wont be that if they have two brain cells to rub together.

No idea about any of this but I would say it's likely that they will use their own engine.

If I'm not mistaken, The Agency was running on the Unreal 3 engine, same as DCUO.

It's plausible that the "new engine" will also be a heavily modified U3 engine...

Whoever designs this new engine, I hope they lock him in a room beneath soe central and dont let him go anywhere else .
Each successive patch of the original made the game more bug ridden than the previous , as noone apparently knew the original coding and how to fix them.
