SOE is probably hedging right now in the light of the embarrassment that is still steaming in the toilet. Coming to E3 with big plans would probably have made negative press and a whole lot of silence about how they will fix the problem.

Dust 514 didn't exactly make a big show at E3, but CCP is probably not exactly anxious to take hits for interfacing their single shard game universe directly into PSN.

I have lost interest in Dust 514. Last I checked it would only have something like 62 player maps. Seems like they are just slapping the word MMO onto a normal FPS.

Well, I don't know what CCP thinks, but seems like everybody is calling it an mmofps. It's even listed as one on wikipedia.

This - it's certainly not an MMOFPS and it wasn't billed as one by CCP as far as I know. It's distinguishing point is it interacts with an existing MMO in a unique way.

As cool as some of the trailers seem at first, EVE was flat out awful. Its an economy sim with spaceships pasted on top. Very slow, very automated, very boring. Doesnt give me much hope for Dust, esp after seeing its "free to play", which as we all know is a total lie and usually is pay to win.
