Just came across this one yesturday. It just came out on 8/16/11. Actually had no idea they were doing this. Looks like Microsoft is trying out a F2P model with it

I played a little last night. It is cartoony, not sure why but guessing easy to port to many hardware types. It is fun and has the same feel as the previous AoE games. I kind of like the way it plays actually. It's like a hybrid RTS/Citybuilding with MMO elements. (i.e. Crafting, equipment, in-game live chat with other online players, trade of in-game crafted items, etc.)
